Schumaker Pond Park


One of Maryland’s most beautiful parks, Schumaker Pond Park is located at 1019 S Schumaker Dr, Salisbury, MD 21804. Known as the “Queen of the Shore”, the pond is a wonderful spot for a picnic or a game of Frisbee. It’s also connected to the Ward Museum and the City of Salisbury’s Riverwalk Amphitheatre. It also includes a floating canoe and kayak launch.

The museum features waterfowl carvings by local artists. Visitors can enjoy the collections of the Ward Brothers Museum. There are several galleries where you can view the artwork. The eBird kiosk allows visitors to enter data easily. During spring, the eBird video displays the birds’ activity at Schumaker Pond Park. During the winter, the museum is home to several species of birds.
