Frontier Town Western Theme Park
You’ll never be bored at Frontier Town, an Old-West town that’s full of train rides, pony rides, and bank holdups. The park also features a campground with a variety of cabins and RVs. A day at this amusement park is bound to be full of laughter, family-friendly fun, and good old-fashioned American fun. This theme park is a great place to bring the entire family. It is located at 8428 Stephen Decatur Hwy, Berlin, MD 21811.
The park is in a suburban setting just outside Ocean City, Maryland. The campground offers primitive campsites and upgraded RV rentals. The park includes a water park, lazy river, ropes course, arcade, and wild west show. The theme parks feature zip-lines, a giant waterslide, and a 200-foot fishing pier. If you want to camp here, you should plan on spending three hours, or more.
The Western Experience at Frontier Town is themed around the 1880s. You’ll see Native American dancing, gunfights, and jailbreaks. You’ll also have the chance to play games like poker and blackjack. You can even take a pony ride! The Golden Nugget Saloon is a must-visit for any visitor to the theme park. The food is fantastic too, and the ambiance of the park is great for families.
A campground at Frontier Town is available for RVs. The company, called Sun Communities, plans to make improvements to the site. Judi Jefferson, a Delaware resident, visits Frontier Town every year and hopes the park doesn’t change. Despite the changes, she is happy that the camp isn’t going to change. “It’s the same place, only better,” she says.
Another option for families is the Port Discovery Children’s Museum. The park is geared toward young children, but older children can also enjoy the interactive exhibits. The museum is a great place for families, as it is both educational and fun. There’s something for everyone at Frontier Town. It’s a unique experience. It’s not just a theme park. It’s a city you can visit every day.
